Return of Mystery Man!

Remember this dude?

Well in case you don't feel like clicking on that post, it was about the random boy in my Marriage and Family class and how I had a strange inclination to become his friend.

Remember how I was convinced I'd never see him again?

Totally did.

Last Tuesday I was at work. It was about 9:30, almost closing time. I was reading my New York Times, trying to figure out what articles my teacher would put on our quiz next week so I didn't have to read all of them (it's a big newspaper, in case you haven't read it). All my attention was put into this, and I wasn't really paying attention to anything around me.

All of the sudden I hear someone say, "Howdy!" I looked up and saw these two cute security guards walk by me. I returned the hello, and they walk away. The partner of the guy that said howdy looked back at me for with a sort of  "I think I know you . . ." look on his face for a few seconds, and it dawned on me who he was.

It was the mystery man! It kind of blew my mind away. I mean, what a random place to see him. Seriously, who is a  security guard in the Taylor Building?

Right afterwards, I texted Cortney, as she had always felt I should marry him (since you know, we knew each other SO well and were pretty close to that point). I said, "Oh my gosh. Remember that boy in my marriage and family class? He totally is a security guard here at night." She texted back and was like "It's meant to be!!!" And that is why I love Cortney.

Honestly, I'm sure it was one of those rare times I'll consider something a coincidence. But I still found it quite funny. I was planning on saying something when he came back, but him and his friend never returned. I'm still confused as to where they went. I thought they walked down a hallway that didn't have an alternate exit. But maybe I don't know the Taylor building as well as I thought (actually, I think I had only been down that hallway once in my life, so it's possible there was a secret exit).

This was last Tuesday. Maybe he'll be back tonight. I'll let you know. Cross your fingers for me. This fella' is quite the looker.
