On the bright side, I got an awesome free lunch today, AND I won 25$ in the weekly drawing (who says showing up 5 minutes early every day doesn't count.). Not quite as good as the 50$ I won 2 weeks ago..But you know, every bit is appreciated :-)

Call Centers. No Thank you.
As of today, I have officially decided I never again want to work in a call center again after this summer. And I feel really bad for being mean to people at places like Tmobile when I've called their Customer Service and they don't tell me what I want to hear. Okay, I really don't feel that bad because I'm always right, but thats besides that point. For some reason today at work, everyone that has called in has been so snippy. Yes, I realize that the dealership you bought the warranty from didn't send us your money and act like they don't know whats going on, but can I do anything about that? No. I'm just the lowly processing representative who cancels and transfers policies. I can't magically make 5000$ appear. You threaten to sue the company and put my name in the lawsuit? Have fun. It's being bought out anyways. Plus I don't see you getting very far with me in that lawsuit by saying "The girl who answered the phone didn't write a check for my policy. Send her to jail!". I just don't see why people feel the need to yell at me, especially when I tell them "I honestly have no idea what to do, I just started here and I'm not trained to deal with it. I can transfer you to a supervisor if you'd like". Some people are way friendly. Sometimes too friendly. But I can handle that. But when they yell? Oh boy. I either wanna yell back. or cry. One of those two things. I'm excited to go back to Utah and work at the Clinic. Yes I still answer phones. But at least those people are interesting, and just start telling me their problems.

You are too cute! Thanks for you comment comparing me too TAMN. However, I don't look nearly as good as her in my modest bikini.
I used to work at a call center in Provo. No bueno.
