Graduation!

(as a side note..i wrote this blog a few days ago, but the pictures got all messed up, and i had to redo a bunch of it, and i just didn't have the patience to do it all in one sitting..but yay! i finally finished!)
Well last saturday I finally graduated from Columbine High School! Yay!

My friend Cortney and I drove out to Coors Amphitheatre at 620 in the morning. It was a good thing we left early because we got lost on the way there!! We had to call her parents and have them guide us to the place.
It was funny! Anyways, we got there at about seven (when they told us to be there) and stood around for about 15 minutes. We then had a "practice" of walking up and down the stairs. You'd think that we'd have mastered that by this time in our life. After that, we had to wait around for about an hour, waiting for the ceremony to start. It seemed like it took forever! Luckily, i was standing by some friends, so it wasn't so unbearable!

Daniel was able to get a great close up picture from when I was walking down the stairs! Well., close from where they were sitting! If you can't tell who i am..I'm the one with the nerdy yellow sash on :-D

This is concert choir singing Ave Maria and The Battle of Jericho. You can't see me in any of the pictures of us singing because I'm behind a really short person. oh well! It was fun to sing for the last time with Concert Choir :)

Here I am after I got my diploma! yay!

Traditional throwing of the hats! I accidently threw mine backwards rather than up :-D

Me hugging my dad

I sadly didn't seem to end up with a picture of just me and kristalyn at the actual ceremony(if you have one, let me know!) but this is my with her bunch :) I'm glad they could all come, even little carter :)

Cindy and AJ flew out from Utah for graduation and for the weekend..I'm so happy they were able too. I'm excited to be closer to them this fall!

Me and Diana :) I'm so glad she came!! I was sad because Brandon had to work and couldn't come, but I understand! I'm happy Diana and her kiddos came :)

Daniel is down in texas selling insect stuff this summer, so it was sooo kind of him to take time off to come to graduation :) he's the best big brother!

Michael is such a good little brother :) He didn't even complain about coming! I'll miss him next year

Me and my wonderfuly supportive parents

Me and my Grandpa and Grandma Park. They are so supportive and are always there for the important things in their children and grandchildrens lives :) I wasn't able to get a picture with My Grandpa Barker and Emmy, but i was happy tohave Grandpa Barker come to graduation and Emmy to join us for lunch. My Uncle Reed also came to support

My family :) I love them so much!

Me and some my best friends!

Me and my best friend Cortney! We've knowon eachother since we were two!

This is one of my favorite pictures!

Afterwards we went out to lunch at Marie Callenders! It was a lot of fun, Even though there was a weirdo waitress that kept bugging mason! Here are some pictures from that lunch

We had a fun family party and barbque that night..full of badmitton and food! I'll post more pictures later on my blog about the weekend, but here's me in front of my cake. Alexis was making the same face..you just can't see her :)

Brandon was able to make it back later in the night, and it was great to have him there (and no..he doesn't normally wear an earring..and neither does David he he)

It was overall a wonderful day! I was happy to finally graduate from high school. It is a little bit sad, because I will be going off to college at BYU this fall, but I'm excited for whatever life brings me there. I'm grateful for the wonderful life and education I have had so far, and I can't wait to see whats to come! The adventure is only beginning..right?

Yes, you are right--the adventure IS only beginning. But what great memories you have made so far! We will miss you so much, but know that you will be having a great time at BYU.

You got some great pictures...and yes, I do have a picture of you and I (and Carter) at Coor's...I will definitely send it to you. It is downloaded and ready to go on my blog, I just have to write the words and post it...hopefully to be coming this week. I am so glad that we got to be part of the celebration...weird waitress and all!
