Graduation!

(as a side note..i wrote this blog a few days ago, but the pictures got all messed up, and i had to redo a bunch of it, and i just didn't have the patience to do it all in one sitting..but yay! i finally finished!)
Well last saturday I finally graduated from Columbine High School! Yay!

My friend Cortney and I drove out to Coors Amphitheatre at 620 in the morning. It was a good thing we left early because we got lost on the way there!! We had to call her parents and have them guide us to the place.
It was funny! Anyways, we got there at about seven (when they told us to be there) and stood around for about 15 minutes. We then had a "practice" of walking up and down the stairs. You'd think that we'd have mastered that by this time in our life. After that, we had to wait around for about an hour, waiting for the ceremony to start. It seemed like it took forever! Luckily, i was standing by some friends, so it wasn't so unbearable!

Daniel was able to get a great close up picture from when I was walking down the stairs! Well., close from where they were sitting! If you can't tell who i am..I'm the one with the nerdy yellow sash on :-D

This is concert choir singing Ave Maria and The Battle of Jericho. You can't see me in any of the pictures of us singing because I'm behind a really short person. oh well! It was fun to sing for the last time with Concert Choir :)

Here I am after I got my diploma! yay!

Traditional throwing of the hats! I accidently threw mine backwards rather than up :-D

Me hugging my dad

I sadly didn't seem to end up with a picture of just me and kristalyn at the actual ceremony(if you have one, let me know!) but this is my with her bunch :) I'm glad they could all come, even little carter :)

Cindy and AJ flew out from Utah for graduation and for the weekend..I'm so happy they were able too. I'm excited to be closer to them this fall!

Me and Diana :) I'm so glad she came!! I was sad because Brandon had to work and couldn't come, but I understand! I'm happy Diana and her kiddos came :)

Daniel is down in texas selling insect stuff this summer, so it was sooo kind of him to take time off to come to graduation :) he's the best big brother!

Michael is such a good little brother :) He didn't even complain about coming! I'll miss him next year

Me and my wonderfuly supportive parents

Me and my Grandpa and Grandma Park. They are so supportive and are always there for the important things in their children and grandchildrens lives :) I wasn't able to get a picture with My Grandpa Barker and Emmy, but i was happy tohave Grandpa Barker come to graduation and Emmy to join us for lunch. My Uncle Reed also came to support

My family :) I love them so much!

Me and some my best friends!

Me and my best friend Cortney! We've knowon eachother since we were two!

This is one of my favorite pictures!

Afterwards we went out to lunch at Marie Callenders! It was a lot of fun, Even though there was a weirdo waitress that kept bugging mason! Here are some pictures from that lunch

We had a fun family party and barbque that night..full of badmitton and food! I'll post more pictures later on my blog about the weekend, but here's me in front of my cake. Alexis was making the same face..you just can't see her :)

Brandon was able to make it back later in the night, and it was great to have him there (and no..he doesn't normally wear an earring..and neither does David he he)

It was overall a wonderful day! I was happy to finally graduate from high school. It is a little bit sad, because I will be going off to college at BYU this fall, but I'm excited for whatever life brings me there. I'm grateful for the wonderful life and education I have had so far, and I can't wait to see whats to come! The adventure is only beginning..right?

Last Days of School!

So today was my last day of High School ever :-)
It's kind of sad but I am really excited. Right as second period was about to get out (third period was going to be our last class) some genius pulled the fire alarm for the "senior prank". No one was very thrilled, especially after we found out all of us seniors had to stay an additional 15 minutes and not get out at 10:10. The person who did it was caught on camera, and the fire department is pressing criminal charges. The kid also won't be able to get his diploma until he(or she) completes their community service. Funny joke right? Anyways, stats was my third period class, and we didn't have a final...we just played name the tune! The class went by really slow! Finally, we were dismissed, proceeded with the senior stomp...So much silly string! And then went ouside where everyone just was screaming and being all excited. It made me laugh. After that there was the senior picnic at the park, so we left for that. They had Qdoba, but someone forgot to order Queso (the best part of Qdoba)..But it was fun. Me and my friends stayed there for awhile, and then i went with Emma back to the school so she could turn in some books. We stayed there for awhile talking to my creative writing teacher, Mr. Leyba, and then finally i came home. What a day!! It's crazy to think that I'm graduating!! So just for posteritys sake, I'm gonna post a few pictures from the past few days. Enjoy :-D (I'm not posting many pictures cuz most of them are really bad of me, but these are the few that turned out okay!)

Here's some of the craziness going on

Yay we're done!

Honestly, I really have no clue what this countdown was for. When it got to 10 seconds though..we all counted down and cheered. lol.

The banner that was let down! Class of 2008! The motto is "Don't Stop Me Now, I'm Having Such a Good Time"
