Day #5: A Habit You Wish You Didn't Have
I bite my nails. It's a terrible habit that I wish I could break. Last Christmas break, I thought I had. I went about 1.5 months without biting them and then I fell back into it about mid-January. It was so sad, because my nails had gotten so beautiful and healthy looking. About the only thing to keep me from biting them is to have a french manicure...and that's definitely far too expensive (though, I did discover the beauty school here does it for five dollars).
Back when I was in middle school, I had a friend who bit her nails. I didn't understand why she did it. It was so weird! So one day I bit my nails, just to see why so many people did it. And from then on, I have had the terrible habit. Isn't that the most ridiculous reason? From today on, I am going to try and break it. Let's see if that happens.

Good luck, Katie! you should have been okay after not biting them for 45 days, but maybe you will just have to take it one day at a time. You can do it!! Don't give up!
