It's official--I am never cutting my hair short again. Okay, so shoulder length isn't exactly the shortest ever, but compared to how long my hair was, it was quite a dramatic change. Even though I cut my hair back in July or August, it has just begun setting in recently how much I miss my long hair! I've been sorting through some pictures, putting them into albums, reminiscing on old times, and through the process, I realized how long my hair was. When I decided to take the plunge and chop off my locks, I thought that it would be much easier to deal with and style. Well, it sure is easier to straighten, because it takes like 20 minutes shorter, but the styling part? Oh boy, was I wrong. I can't seem to figure out how to style it when it's short or long. Why was I born without the hair styling gene? I mean, when looking at my mom and seeing all of her many styles back when she was a teenager, you'd think I'd know more than I do! Back in June I bought a set of curlers, and when I used them, I LOVED how my hair looked. I can't really use them right now cuz my hair looks like a big poof ball afterwards. Just so all of you who didn't see the blessed day that I first tried em out, here's a picture:
(And most of these pictures are very strange, but they showed off my hair at different lengths the best..haha)

And now for the short

I have to admit, I am starting to regret cutting my hair short too. Sometime you just need a change though, and have to get it out of your system. I love your hair both ways. I think you do great at styling it! I think I am growing my hair out again too. I like your idea about the bangs. Just make sure they don't give you too think of ones. That's what happened to me =)
Well, I really do like your hair best when it's longer and you pull the top of it back. (Does that make sense!) But you know me, it's hard to believe I had those zillion of different styles in the home movies because I haven't really changed my style much in the last twenty years! How sad!Anyway--I think all your pictures look really cute. And what are you and Michael holding in that picture? It looks like a Barbie the Farmer Doll!
My favorite picture is the third one down, with long hair; you are wearing a blue top. You have a few different lengths going on and it looks great. (By the way, I did not receive the creative hair sylist gene, either; thank goodness my girls all got it, though!)
