Since there wasn't much to do because I had no money, my camera was the source of my entertainment for the night (besides me adorable little neices and nephews!). Me and lexi took lots of random pictures, but I figured I'd put up one where we were both smiling (a rare find). We got bored, so we wandered around the park for awhile. Alexis thought it would be so cool if we got lost in the park and never found everyone for the rest of the night! Unfortunately for her, this did not happen. But we did have fun looking at different booths! :)
Levi and Mason are such good friends! All the little kids got these little glow necklace things, and it sure did keep them occupied for the rest of the night!
Patiently waiting for it to get dark enough for the fireworks!!!
So one of the vendors at this event was honeybaked hams...so they felt the need to bring their mascot along too! I really think this is one of the creepiest mascots i've ever seen, even more so than the winnie the pooh at disneyland!! The kids sure seemed to love it though, especially Levi! He kept wanting to give it hugs and high fives! We had just seen the bee movie earlier that day, so he must have thought bee's really must be nice :)
Even though Carter is only a few months old, he loved the glow necklaces just as much as all the other kids! Maybe because it was a good teething toy :-)
Unfortunately by the time the fireworks were starting, my camera completely died! I was so sad :( Just imagine really amazing and cool fireworks, and thats what the show was like! Imagination is almost as good as the real thing right?! The park was SO crowded, I''m thinking all of Littleton must have been there! It took awhile to get out, but it was a really fun night :)
On the actual Fourth of July, we started the day out with weeding...yay! not. Fortunately, Diana and Brandon invited Michael and me to go to Pirates Cove for the day with their family, so we were saved for anymore weeding! Pirates Cove was a lot of fun, but it was really really crowded. The lazy river wasn't even as relaxing as it usually was! It was a really fun day though, except we all got really sunburnt! I think its time for my mom to invest in some new sunscreen :-D
I was in charge of dessert for the night, and I found this great recipe for this red, white, and blue angel food cake! So...I don't think I followed the directions right for the angel food cake, because after cooking for about thirty minutes, we looked in the oven, and it was overflowing and about 3 inches higher than the top of the pan! I took it out, hoping to save it, and it finally started to sink down a little bit...awesome right! It was...until it sunk way to low, and there was a big crater in the middle of the cake! It was quite the disaster. At this point, making my original dessert wasn't likely of happening..so I just made something up. I cut up the cake into little pieces, and then made the random dessert in this picture. It tasted pretty good, but I was so sad that my original plan didn't work. ha ha ha.
After prying my parents away from the Rockies game that was going on (I'll admit, it was a pretty exciting game going on!), we all went outside for fireworks! All the kids had cute little lawn chairs! I know these pictures look the same, but Levi and Mason weren't smiling at the same time in them! They both had such cute smiles, I had to put them both in :)
When any of the little kids were feeling cold or just wanted a lap to sit on, my mom was always willing to help them out! Lexi was being silly in this picture (as she is in most pictures I take of her :-D)
He he, Diana I couldn't resist putting this picture up! Levi loves making fun faces in lots of different pictures (Quite like his older sister lexi), so he kept wanting to pose with Diana doing different faces. They were supposed to be doing a scary face, but apparently Levi didn't get the memo. Diana, however, is sporting a face I haven't seen in years, ever since "Kathy Pig", the scariest memory of my childhood, disappeared! hehe
I guess since I put up that last picture, I should probably put up one to show what a nice mommy/person Diana really is :-D
Here's just a bunch of random pictures from the rest of the night! I was so excited to get one with Mason, cuz he hardly ever will be in a picture with me! It was a fun night and I'm glad I got to celebrate it with most of my family. We sure missed Cindy, AJ, and Daniel :) Hope everyone else had a great fourth!

Well except for those terrible pictures of me, a very nice blog! Although you did make it sound like we did our legal fireworks before we did our illegal ones! So for anyone reading this, we didn't have any illegal ones!!
I didn't htink that it sounded like we had illegal ones...even though that would have been fun hehe jk.
Thanks for putting up that picture of Mason smiling, it is so hard to get him to smile at the camera, maybe I'll have to try to print that one off!
You got a lot of cute pictures!
