My Mom's Birthday

This last Thursday was my mom's birthday (she turned 29!). She is the best mom ever and I'm very grateful for her.

Here is the cake that I made for my mom! It was raspberry chocolate. I guess it's the same kind of cake Cindy made for AJ on his birthday, and even though I don't recall that, I must have gotten the idea from her! It was fun to make though.

For my moms birthday dinner, I made this sweet onion and herb chicken, parmesan crusted french fries, garlic knots and salad. Even though the french fries didn't look exactly like french fries, they sure were good! Me and Michael set up a table in the family room and tried to make it look like a little restaurant set up. We all had lots of fun!

Here is the table set up. Don't worry, the cheese and strawberry isn't my idea of a salad (that was Michaels plate :-D)

Mom blowing otu the candles with the help of mason (and levi as well) I didn't get a picture of everyone singing, but I thought it was really cute how mason sang. he was the loudest one!

Mom and me! I didn't get a very good one of us, but this will have to do. Alexis is peaking in in the background :)

Well, I hope she had a great birthday! For all her hardwork, she definitely deserved it :)

Thank you, Katie! That was a very sweet post! I love all the pictures, and the meal and cake you made was such a special treat. I had a wonderful birthday, because I have such wonderful kids (and grandkids!)
